A: Rotary International is the world’s first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.

A: Throughout the year, Rotary Club of Verrazano has fundraisers in the form of charity auctions, golf outings, card nights and other methods. Details for those events can be found here . We are also very open to direct donations. Please contact us if you wish to help.

A: Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true “partners in service” and key members of the family of Rotary.
